The position

We are seeking a driven and experienced Channel Partners Manager to accelerate our growth through strategic alliances within the UPS electrical industry. This critical role will be responsible for identifying, establishing, and nurturing strong partnerships with key players such as Value-Added Resellers (VARs), electrical distributors, IT resellers and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) specializing in or serving markets that require UPS solutions.

Main responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a targeted partner strategy to grow market share in the UPS sector (single-phase, three-phase, modular, critical power).
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard strategic partners in coordination with regional sales directors, managing approvals via the PAC.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners; act as main liaison and organize the annual Partner Seminar.
  • Drive joint business plans with partners, including sales targets, co-marketing efforts, and customer engagement.
  • Lead partner agreement negotiations, ensuring alignment on pricing, responsibilities, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor partner performance through KPIs and implement strategies to increase productivity and revenue.
  • Enable partners with training, resources, and technical support in collaboration with internal product and tech teams.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal sales, marketing, legal, and support teams for partner success.
  • Willingness to travel for partner meetings and event coordination.
Qualifications and requirements
  • Electrical Engineering degree, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in partner management, channel sales, or business development, with a significant focus on the UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) industry.
  • Deep understanding of the UPS market, including different product types, applications, key distributors, contractors, and system integrators involved in power protection.
  • Proven track record of successfully building and managing partnerships that have driven significant revenue growth within the technology or electrical sectors, ideally with direct experience in UPS.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and develop strategic recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a results-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in English is essential. German,  Spanish or Mandarin is a plus.
